I believe that my dark skin makes me the beautiful woman that I am!!!  I love my dark skin.  I love me.  Yes, I was ridiculed as a child and teenager, for my beautiful dark skin.  White supremacist ideology has done some serious shit to the psyche of my community.  I get that.  But I also get that I am beautiful BECAUSE I am dark skinned.  And I’m proud to scream it out to everyone!  I love my dark skin.  I love me.
